Appointment guidelines
To keep everything running smoothly and ensure the best experience for every client, I kindly ask that you read the following before booking. Booking an appointment confirms acceptance of these guidelines.
Arrival
Please arrive at your scheduled appointment time with clean, makeup-free eyes and lashes.
If you arrive late, it may not be possible to extend your appointment time. Your treatment may need to be shortened, and the full cost will still apply.
Arrivals more than 15 minutes late will need to be cancelled, and the full cost of the appointment will be charged.
Changing your appointment
A minimum of 48 hours notice is required to reschedule or cancel your appointment without charge.
Cancellations and missed appointments
Appointment reminders are sent where possible, but it is your responsibility to keep track of your booking.
Cancellations or reschedules made within 48 hours of your appointment will incur a 50% charge.
Appointments cancelled or rescheduled within 2 hours, or missed entirely, will be charged at 100%.
Unpaid fees may result in future bookings being declined.
Securing your appointment
All appointments are booked via Fresha and require a valid card to secure your booking.
No payment is taken at the time of booking. Payment is taken after your appointment, unless the cancellation policy applies.
Patch testing & suitability
Some treatments may require a patch test prior to your appointment.
It is your responsibility to ensure a patch test has been carried out where required. If you are unsure, please get in touch before booking.
If a patch test has not been completed, your appointment may need to be cancelled or rescheduled.
Allergies & medical conditions
Please inform me of any allergies, sensitivities, medical conditions, or recent treatments that may affect your suitability for treatment.
Failure to disclose relevant information may result in treatment being refused or may affect the outcome of your service.
While every care is taken to use high quality, professional products, I cannot be held responsible for reactions where this information has not been disclosed.
Treatment risk & liability
All treatments are carried out with care, using professional products and techniques.
However, as with any beauty treatment involving waxing or chemical solutions, there are inherent risks, including sensitivity or adverse reactions.
By booking and attending your appointment, you acknowledge these risks. I cannot be held responsible for any reactions or outcomes where correct procedures have been followed and relevant information has not been disclosed.
Results & aftercare
Results can vary from person to person depending on natural hair growth, skin type, and aftercare.
Aftercare advice is provided at the end of your appointment. Following this guidance is important to achieve and maintain the best results.
I cannot guarantee longevity where aftercare advice has not been followed.
Sickness or emergency
If you or someone in your household has a contagious illness, please get in touch as soon as possible to rearrange your appointment.
For your safety and the comfort of other clients, I kindly ask that you do not attend your appointment if you are unwell.
If it is believed you are currently unwell, your appointment may need to be shortened or rescheduled.
Bringing guests
You are welcome to bring children or a dog to your appointment if needed, however this is at your own responsibility.
The salon is not set up as a child or pet-friendly space, and I am unable to supervise them during your treatment. Please ensure they remain safe, calm, and respectful of the space at all times.
Any damage caused to equipment or the salon may be chargeable.
For safety and comfort, I kindly ask that you do not bring additional guests or large groups to your appointment.
Salon environment
I aim to create a calm and welcoming space for all clients.
Respectful behaviour is expected at all times. Any behaviour that is disruptive or makes the environment uncomfortable may result in your appointment being ended.
Right to refuse treatment
I reserve the right to refuse or discontinue treatment where it is not considered suitable, safe, or appropriate.
This may include, but is not limited to, medical concerns, late arrival, or behaviour that impacts the salon environment.
Photography & content
From time to time, I may take photos or videos of treatments for portfolio and marketing purposes.
These may be shared on social media or used across my website.
If you would prefer not to be photographed, please let me know at your appointment. Your comfort always comes first.
Personal belongings & liability
While every effort is made to provide a safe and comfortable environment, I cannot be held responsible for any loss, damage, or injury that may occur during your visit.
Clients are responsible for their own belongings, as well as any children or pets brought into the salon.
Refunds
Refunds are not offered on services provided.
If you have any concerns, please get in touch within 72 hours of your appointment and I will always do my best to resolve things for you.
Pricing
All prices are subject to change at any time.
The price confirmed at the time of booking will always be honoured.
