Waxing & Threading

 

There’s no one-size-fits-all when it comes to hair removal. I pick different waxes based on your skin sensitivity, hair type and where you’re getting treated, as well as offering threading for areas like eyebrows and facial hair which gives you a precise and chemical-free option. The goal? To help you get rid of hair effectively while keeping things comfy and gentle on your skin.

Before Your Appointment

For your safety, some medications and skin treatments mean waxing may not be suitable.

Waxing should be avoided if you are:

  • Currently taking, or have recently completed, a course of Accutane or other acne/skin medication.

  • Using retinoids or tretinoin on the treatment area.

  • Using strong exfoliating acids or active skincare that may increase skin sensitivity.

  • Experiencing sunburn, broken skin, irritation or active infection.

  • Undergoing certain medical treatments that affect the skin.

If you are unsure whether waxing is suitable for you, please get in touch before booking. In many cases, threading may still be an appropriate alternative.
